The liner, which is what I primarily wear, is stylish, well-insulated, and surprisingly waterproof given its breathability. It keeps me comfortably warm without causing overheating or perspiration. While I rarely need to use the heating feature, it works well and is a great option to have. I keep the battery unplugged from the liner until I need it to conserve power, and it has also come in handy for charging my phone. What stopped it from getting a 5-star rating is that the holder for the inside liner broke off the first time I tried the jacket. I went to get the jacket off, and my hand got stuck; when I pulled a bit, the fabric holding the snap broke off. You can still wear the jacket but would have been nice to have better stitching. The jacket feels good and fits great. True to size. The heating elements work extremely well. Very fast to heat up. The pocket on the inside that holds the battery is a snug fit. Also, the battery connector to the jacket is a barrel-type connector, so you can’t just swap out the battery if it runs out. I have another heated jacket with a standard type C connector and a bigger battery compartment. Make sit easy to swap out the battery.
