I debated whether to order it or not becuase of the collar. I should have listened to myself and not ordered it. The collar is big and fairly inflexible, perhaps becuase of the heating zone in the neck itself. Regardless, it was going to be uncomfortable for my wife to wear, not to mention the vest was actually too big, even as an extra-small. It is located on the left towards the middle of your back. It would be so much nicer if it was located on the bottom inside on the left or right side of the jacket. This one from this seller was a gift for another teacher (XS). All have been the snug fit you want. Warm even when not turned on.
